Exin is a Netherlands based IT company that certifies IT professionals worldwide. It accredits, training, and examination, in the field of ICT training and development. Products of EXIN are certification and assessment. One of these is a Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP).
EXIN CDCP certification was created for a professional assessment. From which it is primarily focused to test the candidate’s viewpoint and prospect towards essential parts of data centers. Professional workspaces with an extensive number of managerial staff, especially those that are data-savvy, can make the most from this assessment. This certification discourses how to set up and improve key operations.
The main subjects covered by CDCP are facilities, operations, and most importantly management. Requirements for the certification is to have at least 2 years of work experience in data center facilities or workplace since its training nature is practice-oriented. Other requirements are to provide evidence of CDCP training and successful completion of its exam.
Details of the exam are available online that clearly explains that the exam will be multiple-choice questions non-open book test. The candidate will attempt 40 questions in a time duration of 60 minutes and will have to score 68% to pass. The only thing allowed in the exam is an electronic dictionary.
The training program is small yet quite thorough as the trainer assigned will ensure that the candidate completes all requirements in the assignments. Ideally, 14-20 hours are enough for this training course. The exam requirement along with the list of basic concepts are considerably large but are easily assessable.
